Twilight up and down

It was December 2008 when I started reading Twilight. It was my year end present from someone special. It was indeed a very busy month to start reading. I didn't have much time for it. Therefore, I only read during time intervals. Sometime I do a 5 minutes reading after lunch, other time I will only read while waiting for time to pass. Therefore, I always have Twilight in my bag. And hence, it had became an old Twilight.

Oh.. this is Twilight before I made it old.

I am so grateful to have the UK version of Twilight as the wording are more compact and the cover has this 3D picture of the hands and apple. Well, the US edition has a flat cover though, with bigger wordings of course.

When I handed over my unfinished Twilight to my sister because she wanted to read first, she was reluctant to take it. As she said that it did not appear new to her and she didn't want to read an old book. *Blink with disbelief*

I always like to read books until it looks old, at least it looks like I have already read it. Anyway, Shing wrapped my Twilight and finished reading it in a week. Then, she wrapped my poor "New Moon" and finished it in another 3 days.

Shing wrapped my books horribly. Sigh... (Just joking)

I stopped when Shing were reading, I only manage to finish Twilight during Valentines day. It was a very very good read! I have not been reading like this for like 3 years? I am convinced with how deeply in love Bella is to Edward. I actually thought the movie was fantastic. Although some said the video ruined the book, I think the editor did a great job. It is indeed hard to compact so many things in a video and I thought the editor made some good choices on scene selections.

There was a scene where Bella slipped and fell. I do think the scene was redundant. It was not enough to show how clumsy Bella was. Instead, I think it can be replaced by scenes like Bella was about to fall and Edward grabbing her. Or she could scratch her car or something. Clumsy people are bad with cars, especially women. (I know I scratched my car again. Sigh...)

Okay, I am quite obsessed with Twilight. I have just finished new "New Moon" and on "Eclipse" now. The "Old Moon" which fell into the drain was abandoned.

I included some pictures of old and new "New Moon". The right one was "Old Moon" which fell into the poor drain. The left one was the new one bought by you-know-who. (No it's not the Voldemort!) "New Moon" just found its way to my apartment and appear at my door step the next next day after "Old Moon" fell into the drain. (Maybe it's Voldemort after all!)

Oh... Poor "Old Moon" drank a lot of water and became so fat!

It is so fat, its cover cracked to give way to the body expenditure.

I have no idea what to do with "Old Moon". Anyone wants to adopt? It look like some old spell book though.

I have made my friend buying "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn" as birthday presents for me. Birthdays are just great!

My almost new unwrapped obsessions! Shing want to help me wrap again?

Finally, a happy family! The books on the left is from a UK publisher, atom. The rights are published by MT Books, US. I would say the cover texture is nicer from the UK ones and the binding quality is better from US.

Can you tell where have I read until? Hahha...

I am waiting eagerly for Midnight Sun, the twilight version of Edward. I always wanted to know what Edward thinks. Now, I just see what Bella sees, it would be awesome if I can complete the story from both sides. However, the book is delayed because the book had a leak and Stephenie was not in the mood writing it.

I am also patiently waiting for "The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide". Well, this guide claim to have all the character profiles, genealogical charts, maps and extensive cross-references. Well, sounds interesting enough though. It is said to be published on 1 Sept 2009. I guess I have grown to be really patient.
