Boston Restaurant @ PJ and Soho KL

I received my gift vouchers within 2 weeks after my participation in MyFM's games.

RM150 of Boston vouchers.

This is the first time I heard of Boston. The concept of which is that there is no chef in the restaurant. All food are delivered from the HQ. Hence, they can control the quality of the food easily.

I guess I am just a pathetic person as I find it quite hard to find someone to share my joy. My family members are far away. Therefore I decided to go with a friend, but in the end he ditched me with the expiring vouchers. Due to short period of notice, most of my friends weekends had already been booked.

Therefore, I went to Boston alone. I really hope I am good with roads, then I won't have to round the same place over and over again. I went to their outlet in PJ, the only place I am familiar with. Luckily, the location is not hard to find.

Yeah, I am so happy I see you at the traffic light!

There are a few concepts in Boston, one of which is "Chill Out"

I have lots of time to take pictures of the menu.

And finally, this is what I ordered.

I think I used up RM60 of vouchers. I took away another drink too. The food was quite nice but I did't find the food very fresh. It tasted like it is marinated for long enough to taste really very good! If you are craving taste more than freshness, this is the right place for you.

I was thinking about eating another meal alone when Kim were so enthusiastic to go. Therefore, We went to the Soho KL branch together with her husband.

I love the restaurant! It's really a great place for dates.

Kim ordered burger set.

Kim husband ordered steak set.

I ordered speggetti!

Here are some pictures taken with our new cameras. We just got our new cameras a week before this dinner. Apparently, Kim's husband wanted to buy a camera too. Therefore, we went to the same shop and got the same model of camera. All photos below are using pin-hole mode. Kim likes it! Cheers Panasonic LX3!

*Happy* Labour Day

It was labour day! Well, 2 days ago. Most of the people were not working. They had either gone for a vacation overseas or gone back hometown for a full rest.

I decided to work on labour day. It's better to work as much as I can at this point of time.

I was about 8.30AM in the morning when I started my journey to work. I was listening to My FM as usual. All this while I don't have a CD player in my car. I want to make myself listen to the radio station for news and information, and of course to expose myself to new songs too.

So there was this cue to call to win a RM150 food voucher. Then I thought to myself. I guess not a lot of people will wake up so early on labour day. I decided to try my luck by calling the hotline. After a few dials, I got the waiting tone. I always get through actually, just that the DJs don't pick up.

Then, I didn't hear the waiting tone. The phone showed that someone picked up. I was wondering why didn't I hear anything. I began saying,

"Hello hello!"

To my surprise, I thought I heard a guy's voice (It's either Lam Tak Weng or Nicholas). He asked me for my name and the answer to the question. But the line was really very bad. I could barely hear what he said. However, he seemed to be able to hear everything I said.

He asked me whether I was driving, I agreed. Then he also asked me whether I was using handsfree. Well, I sort of lied and said yes. Then I suggested that I stopped the car to talk to him. He did sound a little impatient. Haha... I really pity him.

After jotting down all my details, he told me that we'd be on air soon and I have to do an introduction. That was easy. You would have to go like, "My FM, I am Jane, I want to take part in XXX contest."

While we were on air, there were times I could not hear them (Lam Tak Weng and Nicholas). But they're quick, they shouted and joked that they had to talk really loud.

Luckily I didn't say anything wrong. I did a wild guess on the time he asked for the answer. Then I heard them cheering, I knew I got the answer right.

After hanging up, I turned the radio on. It was still playing songs. I knew there was a delay. As the radio aired my victory, I recorded my conversation with the DJs. Then only I found the missing pieces of the conversations. I seriously didn't hear them wishing me "Happy Labour Day."

I wonder I can convert an .amr file to a file format that I can share here. It was such an experience on labour day and it really lightened up my day.

Crazy about "Pet Society"!

Life has been so busy ever since I had Twiggie. She is one very cute companion. I started having Twiggie three weeks ago while I was home for Chinese New Year. Shing was playing with Ah Hua, her pet. Ah Hua was so cute that I instantly got Twiggie for myself. I have to admit that I still had the Twilight effect on me when I named my pet.

I guess Twiggie is a cat but I have no idea what Ah Hua or Wiggie is. Well, Wiggie is Wen's pet. Apparently, she just sort of mimic my Twiggie's name. Hahah.. Wiggie is claimed to be a cat, however, I think she looks like a rabbit more.

Well, it's kindna pathetic how we can get seriously addicted to virtual pet. Yeah, I know it's sad. It's better to place your pets in the computer than to place them in a cage. I know I should not mention, but I just murdered some non-virtual pets while I drove them back from KL to Ipoh. Apparently, they can not adapt theirselves to long journey travel or hot temperature car. So please don't try that again! *cry* They are hamsters by the way.

So, how does Twiggie look like?

I like Twiggie in T-shirts and pants. She looks very cute and adorable.

If you are wondering how Ah Hua looks like, the below green cat (rabbit??) is Ah Hua and you're looking at Ah Hua's house.

Well, needless to say, the pink rabbit look-alike pink monster is Wiggie. Hahha.. Ohh.. and we're looking at Wiggie's house now.

You can create your own pet, create your own house and have fun visiting each other. I guess it's cool visiting each other and checking out what others have.

Well, I do have a lot of friends playing, I am glad that I can check them out on and off. However, my biggest joy is checking Ah Hua and Wiggie everyday. Wiggie was born later than Twiggie. However, Wiggie's ranking in the society is now higher than Twiggie's. No joke when you're dealing with my sisters!

Like any other pet, Twiggie will get hungry and you will need to feed her from time to time. Else, she will walk really slow and bend her body like this:

You can also change her outfit regularly, if you have the money to buy lots of shirts for her to change with.

Wiggie and Twiggie had sometimes exchanged their outfit. Well, the picture below shows that Twiggie is wearing Wiggie's out of space dress which cost like $1200? I wonder why Wiggie gets it. Hahha..

At the same time, Wiggie is wearing Twiggie's dress. Apparently, we like the dresses we bought more, so, we exchanged it back.

For the time being, let's check out the 2 richest pet in my society.

Hmm.. I wonder why the above picture is there. Ah Hua is definately not the richest at the moment. Hahha.. but I have faith in you! GO GO!!
Hmm.. You can tell he's rich!

I like the grand piano! Yup! He is definately one of the richest pet.

Lastly, let's share some of Twiggie's pictures that I like:

Twiggie running in stadium, Ah Hua is watching her from the audience seat.
